...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT /7 PM
MDT/ FOR SOUTHWESTERN BURLEIGH, WESTERN EMMONS, EASTERN GRANT,
EASTERN MORTON AND SIOUX COUNTIES...

At 743 PM CDT /643 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line from 8 miles south of Mandan to 6 miles south of Selfridge, or
along a line from 7 miles southwest of Bismarck to 38 miles southwest
of Linton, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

  Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Fort Yates, Selfridge, Solen, Cannon
  Ball, Prairie Knights Resort, St. Anthony, Shields, Breien, Stumpf
  State Natural Area, Fort Rice, Huff, Hazelton Recreation Area,
  Beaver Bay Recreation Area, University Of Mary, Porcupine, Standing
  Rock and Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT /1100 PM MDT/ for
a portion of south central North Dakota.
