...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN KIDDER, SOUTHEASTERN WELLS, SOUTHWESTERN FOSTER AND
NORTHWESTERN STUTSMAN COUNTIES...

At 710 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest of
Carrington, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Public reported. At 656 PM CDT, a member of the public
         reported quarter sized hail in Pettibone.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Carrington, Pettibone, Woodworth, Sykeston, Lake Williams and Chase
  Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
