...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 5 and 9 inches and ice accumulations up to a
  quarter inch of inch.

* WHERE...Western Clinton County in northern New York, and portions
  of northern Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Isolated to scattered power outages are possible from
  snow loading and ice. Travel will become difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Most of the snow will fall through mid
  morning today. A wintry mix with ice accumulations is expected
  late today into Sunday.

  to 4 inches and ice accumulations of one tenth to four tenths of
  an inch. Locally higher ice accumulations up to a half an inch are
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and central and southern
  Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Isolated to scattered power outages are possible from
  ice loading. Travel will become hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A variety of precipitation types are expected
  through this morning, eventually changing to mainly freezing rain
  and rain by tonight.

* WHERE...Eastern Clinton County in northern New York and portions
  of northern Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Most of the snow will fall through mid
  morning today. A wintry mix with light ice accumulations is
  expected later today into Sunday. Precipitation will become plain
  rain on Sunday, except for sheltered valleys in Essex County where
  temperatures will remain near to below freezing through much of
  the day Sunday.
