  Northwestern Brown County in west central Illinois...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 428 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast
  of Canton, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Meyer, Lima, Ursa, Mendon, Loraine, Woodville, Paloma, Coatsburg,
  Chatton, Golden, Camp Point, La Prairie, Clayton, Mound Station and
  Mount Sterling.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT Wednesday for a
portion of west central Illinois.
